The brand was founded in 2014, after the founder princess Ekaterina Malysheva first visited the festival within the Black Rock Desert and came back full of ideas and a newly found dynamism. She was inspired by the art she discovered and the social solidarity she experienced at the festival and felt like passing on her experiences by founding a fashion brand creating colourful katsuits. The bodysuit can be worn to any occasion thinkable – whether you like to workout in your EKAT suit, you love to relax on your yoga mat or on your couch, or you love to use the suit for making an entrance at your favourite party. The suits are super comfortable and feel like a second skin so there is nothing between you and your personality. By using materials with internal sun protection, the katsuits are your ideal companion for sunny days. With sustainability being at the forefront of EKAT, the suits are made from recycled materials and are fairly produced in Portugal.
