The new sole is even lighter and softer and also environmentally friendly. Handmade in our Italian factory, the ReWoolution stands on casual and particularly stylish feet.

Material: Together with experts we have developed the ReWoolution: the classic loden fabric further developed into our DUCKS Loden. Unlike conventional merino wool, our DUCKS Wool in navy is very elaborately processed from 100% recycled high-quality wool sections and then upgraded in a special process to make it weatherproof. 100% natural.

Loden is a particularly light fabric that is pleasant to wear against the skin and gives our shoes an optimal fit. Wool allows the feet to breathe particularly well. Our shoes are therefore breathable, temperature-balancing and prevent unnecessary sweating. The elaborate processing of the virgin wool, fulling, not only makes the loden more resistant and warmer, but also water-repellent and even dirt-resistant.

Shoe Care: Loden is naturally protected by lanolin and is therefore extremely easy to care for. Lanolin protects the wool fiber from rain, dirt and odors. Additional impregnation is not necessary for your handmade shoes, but it doesn't do any harm either. We recommend that you impregnate your shoes, especially if you have a material combination of loden and leather. Regular airing and brushing with a natural hair brush also preserves the quality of the fabric very well.

For additional cleaning, you can moisten the material with a little vinegar and then brush it out with a clothes or shoe brush. Edges and stains can be removed with a damp cloth and a little curd soap.

Breathable: The unique fibre structure of DUCKS Wool allows us to integrate millions of small air chambers into the fabric. This allows the feet to breathe particularly well.

Water Repellent: The elaborate processing makes the wool not only more resistant and warming, but also water-repellent.

Temperature Regulating: Our DUCKS wool cools in summer and warms in winter. Loden is a particularly light fabric that is pleasant to wear against the skin. Loden flatters from the very first minute.
